In
the
Consulting
of
Psychology
and
Health
Montse
Valls
Giner,
as
based
psychological
therapies,
we
do,
we
have
opted
for
the
use
of
humanistic
psychology,
as
this
stream
is
to
take
the
best
of
the
individual
in
order
to
try
to
restore
its
inner
calm.
Now
we
have
wanted
to
go a
step
further
and
have
brought
together
the
best
of
psychoanalysis
and
humanism,
to
achieve
efficacy
and
speed
in
the
therapies
in
which
we
use
this
technique.
Psychoanalysis
is the technique
where hidden
traumas are
deepened the
most, since the
patient
throughout his
sessions reels
his life and,
over time, he
will remember
almost without
realizing hidden
memories that
condition his
way of acting in
the lifetime.
The disadvantage
of this therapy
is that the
professional
intervenes
minimally to
guide the
patient, so that
for it to be
effective it is
necessary to do
very frequent
sessions and for
a long time. Of
course, the
professional
will obtain
great
information
while the
patient does a
deep catharsis.
Humanism allows
us to intervene
to guide the
patient during
psychoanalysis
sessions, thus
ensuring that
the patient
accesses their
hidden trauma
more quickly.
This type of
therapy is
suitable for
treating
practically any
psychological
disorder, also
requiring less
frequency in
sessions and
less therapy
time.
