HOW
ARE OUR SESSIONS
PSYCHOLOGY:
On
the first visit, we'll
ask to the patient, the
data needed to make your
medical history.
Subsequently some
projective test are
passed to make a
diagnosis, which will be
discussed with the
patient at the next
visit. Finally,
according of explained
by the patient, the
observation made by the
psychologist and
according with the
possible diagnosis,
we'll use relaxation
techniques or hypnosis,
which in the opinion of
the psychologist, offers
greater assurances for
the treatment and
healing of the symptoms
that the patient has.
The duration of the
first visit is
approximately 90
minutes.
In
subsequent visits,
suitable techniques will
be combined, depending
on the diagnosis
obtained to effect the
relevant psychological
therapy and the session
will end with relaxation
techniques or hypnosis,
as advised by the
diagnosis. The duration
of the visits is
approximately 75 to 90
minutes, unless the
diagnosis or the
patient's needs make it
necessary to spend more
time, that's always at
the discretion of the
psychologist.
The
space devoted to
consultation, we try to
be friendly and make it
comfortable, avoiding as
far as possible, the
patient is perceived as
strange or unpleasant
environment. We think
it's important for the
patient to feel "at
home". This certainly
favors the current
essential trust and
openness between
psychologist and
patient, and vice versa.
Likewise shall achieve
full mutual empathy, as
it is essential that the
patient is comfortable
and understood. Never
follow a therapy with a
professional, if you do
not feel that this
feeling has been
generated, otherwise it
isn't, is unlikely to be
a functional therapy.
MANUAL THERAPY
Like,
that psychological
therapies at the first
visit, depending on the
patient explained, any
existing medical
diagnoses and
observation of the
therapist, the type of
massage and the
techniques employed will
be decided for the
favorable development in
the shortest possible
time and will be
explained to the
patient, consisting
treatment.
In
the visits of manual
therapy usually are need
30 minutes, except that
the problem to be
treated or the needs of
the patient so require
more time. This
decision, which will be
discussed with the
patient, will always be
the therapist. In the
treatment of muscle
pain, spasms,
inflammation, etc. it is
usually better not
exceed the time
indicated to avoid the
pressures and
manipulations performed
during the massage,
become excessively
annoying.
The
spaces used to perform
manual therapies, as
well as psychological,
are comfortable and
welcoming, to ensure
that the patient is
comfortable and
therefore relax more
easily.
